About

Boca Boutique Living is an independent journal of coastal living in Boca Raton. It covers the houses, the condos, and the neighborhoods, along with the routines the coast asks of them: what the buildings are, what the salt air does to them, and where the city gathers when the workday ends.

The issues read the skyline against the Intracoastal, the mid-1920s bungalow districts against the newer glass, and stucco, rail, and glazing against the salt air. A recurring question runs through all of it — how the city keeps the version of itself it likes, at street level and from a high floor. Coverage follows the building types: the towers west of the waterway, the heritage districts, the parks and boardwalks that hold both in daylight hours.

The journal is written in the manner of a trade journal rather than a personal letter. Issues are numbered, dated, and kept in the archive, and each one is meant to stand on its own. An issue appears every other Wednesday.

Boca Boutique Living began in 2020 as a personal lifestyle blog for the city; it is today an independent journal about the houses, condos, and coastline of Boca Raton.
